ALPHA is a Nordic non-profit organisation that empowers fashion talent from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. We support designers in the early stages after graduation, and we create career-furthering projects alongside projects of high cultural value.

We promote unique talent from the Nordic region and feature designers who show high levels of originality, creativity, craftsmanship and responsibility.

ALPHA designers go on to work for international brands, such as Maison Margiela, Balenciaga and Marni, and others start their own companies.

ALPHA Award
Each year 10 finalists are selected to present their graduate work at the joint ALPHA Award show at Copenhagen Fashion Week. Awarded designers receive mentorships, internships, study trips and support to produce a commercial collection. We also offer a year-long residency in the ALPHA Studio in Copenhagen. Designers are selected by director Ane Lynge-Jorlén and an international panel of industry experts.

Exhibitions
In partnership with leading Nordic museums, we curate exhibitions with Nordic fashion talent. The aim is to create new insights into the craft and cultural value of fashion in the Nordic region.   

Bespoke Projects
Together with companies and organisations that share our values of innovation, craftmanship and responsibility, we create bespoke talent projects. These include films, talks and commissioned creative projects.
